Welcome to Ss. Cyril and Methodius

We would like to welcome our parishioners and all visitors to the website of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church and hope that you will find this site useful and informative. Our parish is located in the hamlet of Deer Park, New York under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre. Our church was formally established in 1956, although traces it's roots to an earlier mission initiated by the Slovak settlers of the community. Following in the footsteps of our church's founders, we continue to profess the Catholic faith and invite all to come join us in worship and the celebration of the Holy Mass.

Parish Mission Statement

Ss. Cyril and Methodius is a welcoming Catholic community open to all, with Jesus and the Eucharist as our center. Through our celebration of the Gospel message, we embrace with compassion all individuals equally as God's children. As a church community, we continue the building of God's Kingdom of justice by accepting the challenge of the Gospel through faith, hope, and love. We spread God's love to all with whom we come into contact, truly serving as Jesus' body on earth.
