Dear Father Sang:

In response to your letter in which you request retirement from active ministry, I accept your request for retirement effective June 25, 2008.

Father Thomas Mulvanerty, Vicar for Senior Priests, will be in contact with you to discuss your plans. I have also asked Mr. John Coughlin, Director of the Diocesan Human Resources Office lo inform you of the retirement benefits to which you are entitled under our Diocesan Plan. I trust that these benefits will assist you to continue to live the ongoing years of your priesthood in the dignity and with the respect to which you are entitled.

You have served the Church generously for 27 years. Priestly goodness and dedication have marked your service at Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary, Centereach, Associate Pastor; Our Lady of Grace, West Babylon, Associate Pastor; St. Martha, Uniondale, Associate Pastor; St. Martin of Tours, Amityville, Associate Pastor and Ss. Cyril & Methodius, Deer Park, Associate Pastor.

May Christ the Good Shepherd continue to fill you with zeal for priestly service. I pray the Lord will bless you with health and peace in your retirement.
