STEWARDSHIP

Saints Cyril and Methodius

Mission Statement

Ss. Cyril and Methodius is a welcoming Catholic community open to all with Jesus and Eucharist as our center. Through our celebration of the Gospel message, we embrace with compassion all individuals equally as God’s children. As a church community, we continue the building of God’s Kingdom of justice by accepting the challenge of the Gospel through faith, hope and love. We spread God’s love to all whom we come into contact, truly serving as Jesus’ body on earth

In today’s readings, St. Paul reminds the Romans-and us-that all things come from God: “For from Him and through Him and for Him all things are” Good stewards understand that all is gift and share generously the gifts of time, talent, and treasure with which they-ve been blessed.

"I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Then he strictly ordered his disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.                 ~ Matthew 16:19-20
